Partnership & Accreditation...
Redeemer’s Boarding School provides a Christ-centered, Biblically based education for students grades 3-12 along with an online college program for accredited degree seekers.
In a fruitful and productive partnership with Enlightium Academy, Redeemer's Boarding School high school students can receive a fully accredited, U.S. diploma through a hybrid private and online school experience upon completing the requirements thereof. Elementary, Middle School, and High School students are able to learn in the ways that are right for them where a joy for learning and passion to pursue their interests is nurtured in a ranch setting in Eastern Washington State in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.
Online courses are not only rigorous and interactive but provide instruction based on a Christian worldview. Redeemer's Boarding School encourages students to consider challenging questions and to formulate Biblical answers, all from a Christ-centered perspective. Enrollment is open all year round for students desiring to join Redeemer's Boarding School.
Other Features Of Our Program
Personalized Teacher Services
While engaged in academic studies, Redeemer's Boarding School students receive individualized help and instruction from qualified, college-level teachers, tutors and/or proctors who guide the learning process and personalize courses to meet students' needs while offering ongoing support and feedback. With a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in all specific fields, the instructors are equipped and eager to help Elementary, Middle School, and High School students succeed with their academic goals, all within and through a distinctly Biblical Christian Worldview.
Grades and Feedback
Teachers grade student lessons with care, addressing the strengths and weaknesses of each student’s work with expertise and compassion. Grades, teacher comments, and student progress can be viewed online through the easy-to-use Ignitia platform for Elementary, Middle School, and High School students.
Redeemer’s Boarding School provides a mastery-based program that allows adjustment to the school year’s content or pace of lessons to suit the needs of individual students, within certain limitations. Mastery-based education is centered on the principle that once Elementary, Middle School, or High School students demonstrate that they have a proficient understanding of the lesson’s concepts, they may progress to subsequent lessons. This approach allows students to work through lessons at their own speed, with an opportunity to revise each assignment, up to a certain number of attempts, to promote mastery of the material. It also encourages teachers to reinforce key curricular topics according to the needs of individual students. Mastery-Based curriculum is utilized for Elementary, Middle School, and High School students.
In partnership with local teachers and academies, Redeemer’s Boarding School offers all students a limited selection of extracurricular and musical opportunities to supplement their academic endeavors. Violin, piano, and self-defense elective classes are available to all students regardless of age. Redeemer’s Boarding School believes in training the mind as well as the body. We foster this learning so that students develop skills and talents that can be utilized for the Glory of God. These extracurricular and musical opportunities are offered to all students without charging any kind of additional fee.
Keeping in Touch and Providing Support
Redeemer’s Boarding School fosters clear, productive communication between teachers and students at all times. Teachers keep in contact with students on a daily basis as questions and needs arise. Teachers and counselors coordinate to customize a student’s curriculum as needed, suggesting academic strategies and setting up opportunities for further communication. Whether Elementary, Middle School, or High School students, Redeemer's Boarding School is committed to fostering the necessary interaction to help students excel.
